WHAT IS HOLISTIC WELLNESS COACHING?

A Holistic Health Practitioner (also referred to as a "Holistic Health Coach" by some) in essence, should perform an evaluation of every base aspect contributing to your general health and then educate you practically, as to how to stimulate your body’s biology towards ideal functioning, from a root level outward.

Ie. A functional approach: There is no focus on masking symptoms, but rather getting to the crux of foundational health, pertaining to each area contributing to overall health.​

This can have a dramatic snowball effect on the chain of events (symptoms) that unfold due to mismanagement in one or more areas of wellness.

Ie. Metabolic, hormonal, biochemical and feedback-loop systems can be stimulated naturally, to reactivate and reset at a root level, encouraging a healthier chain of events to occur, having an overall effect on general biological functioning.

The various facets of lifestyle-management are all crucially interrelated and when managed correctly, have a quickening effect on each other, often dramatically speeding up results... (Results that you may not have been attaining, because you may only have been focusing on one area of wellness and not the others, all of which directly affect each other. Either that, or the approach was surface-level or superficial and not rooted. We discuss this in sessions, which helps you to understand why you might be hitting walls and not moving forward.)

Examples of aspects covered in programs include modern nutrition, combating stress, establishing healthy sleep patterns, therapeutic exercise, as well as dealing with the diminishing of oxidative stress and thus chronic inflammation, among addressing other factors which contribute to managing weight, optimising hormones and health in general!

Our Story
..."I noticed how people generally weren’t functioning properly anymore. Many battling stubborn-weight and emotional issues. I realised many people who were even in their 20’s, were already feeling like a wreck! I witnessed friends, family, clients and even my own husband, a leading fitness professional himself, go through modern health troubles relating to weight, digestion and hormones for example and I became increasingly intent at getting to the bottom of this.

I noticed how many people (out of sheer desperation to attain their wellness goals), were reaching out to alternative practitioners for help, but still coming up with nothing.

Then the explosion of coaching programs came on the scene and after much investigation, I noticed many were either hopelessly generic or just pie-in-the-sky based methodologies, many throwing multitudes of expensive supplements or alternatively, a ton of yawn-worthy “buzz-terms” at their wearied clients and I became more and more driven than ever, to help these desperately frustrated people (who were just trying to get on top of their wellness practically), to simply be able to cope with life, to feel good about themselves when they look in the mirror and when they wake up in the morning!"...
